WHOOO! Finally, left one more week in this alternate world of craziness. Well, its not really an alternate world. Just a different country that’s all. These 2 months and 3 weeks let me see the dark side of a country. Really dark and stupid side of it actually. Things that shouldn’t be done were done. Things that should be done in a better way wasn’t done. Totally different from what we Singaporeans expect. Well, different country different point of view.

Going back next week, deciding on which to buy. PS3 or DS? Both have games that I wanna play. So many things to buy, so little cash.

1. Men change their minds two to three times more often than women. Most women take longer to make a decision than men do, but once they make a decision they are more likely to stick to it.

8. Women are twice more talkative than men! It has been estimated that on average, men speak 12,500 words and women speak about 25,500 words in a day.

9. Men, on average, think about sex every 7 seconds.

10. The female brain is much more adept at reading subtle facial and verbal emotional expressions.  Some woman say that only when men see actual tears they realize that something is wrong. This is why women have to cry four times more than men do, to signal distress.

Wooooo! It’s been 2 months since I am in Vietnam. Going to end work in roughly two weeks and gonna stay here for another 2 weeks for don’t know what reason. Maybe just for us to go travel around and help us add in things for the final report. Work is sort of done.

Nothing much is up lately, get up, work, lunch, work, go home, wash clothes/iron clothes and talk to the person I always longing to talk to. Its always fun talking to her, waiting impatiently for December to come as well. Getting very sleepy, I shall stop here.

This post is dedicated for people who had been through tough times, had tough times, in tough times or think that they are going through tough times in life.

The World is a playground. Just that we grow up and tend to forget that. Life is really unpredictable, but it’s controllable. It’s okay to feel sad, but smile after you thought through it. There are lots of people willing to share your problems. No matter how far, or how close they are.

Remember, it’s not how time us you. It’s how you use time. As long as you think the time you used is worthwhile, it definitely is worthwhile.

Good morning everyone! It sounds like I am high but actually I am not. I’m just bored cause today morning was raining and it should be the kind of day that I should sleeping in, but I am not. Sadly. In any case, I am here to blog what I had been doing in Ho Chi Minh City. Yes, I am in the office, using my work time to do this. And yes, I am trying to waste some time. And yes yes, they don’t really read English so they think that I am typing ailen language.

So on 30th August, I went to somewhere with the company which I still not very sure of the place. However, that place was totally awesome. By awesome, I mean really awesome. You have to take a boat there. But of course, being Vietnamese. These people are just really unusually early. We had to wake up at 5am and wait for the bus to come. The tour bus came to our house and picked us up. When do you see that often huh! Ran and I moved to the back of the bus cause we don’t understand what they are speaking like they don’t understand us.

So we took an hour ride to our breakfast area which is beside Mekong River. The resturant is on top of the water which is totally cool. Pictures will be below so look at it later. What we ate were “zhu zha tang mian”. It was rather delicious. Every kind of food in Vietnam is nice.

Later we continued another 1hour plus ride which the tour guide wont stop talking. Then when we reached the jetty, took some pictures and on the boat we go. Reaching the destination, we took a little tour around the place. Walk walk, see see. Then they went for an ostrich ride which was sure a torturing thing for me to see. Poor birds, even though they are much bigger than. Then we went for the crocodiles, where we “fish” for them. Well, not exactly fish. Rather to feed them. They like a few years never eat. See food straight away go for it.

Then had lunch, and than we go change into some old vietnamese clothes cause we have to work. Damn them, working in weekdays and half a weekend isn’t enough for them. Worst still, working in a farm. So we changed, walk to the farm and work. We were suppose to fish for fish this time. By draining the water out of the pond, and leaving the fish lying dead there.

After catching the fish, they barbaqued it. Again, another meal with fish, veggie and more beer. Ran and I were asked to drink half a cup of rice wine which is amazingly strong, for me at least. Then we went for a swim in the river which was rather unclean, but still alright. Freezing cold water on a hot day equals to good combo.

The weather turned a a bit for the worst. We changed and rushed for the boat or else we will be dead or be flood around in the sea and wait for our death. Either way. So we got back. And took a 2 hour bus ride home due to flood of the roads again.

Yupp, that’s what generally happened that day. Note to be taken, Vietnamese really wake up damn early. By early, I meant 4am – 5.30am. They visit people’s house at freaking 6am! Okay, complaining about being Vietnamese is done. Other than that, Vietnam is rather nice. Do visit.

Alright, second post since I am in Vietnam. After a week plus living here, and working here. I have come to a conclusion that I quite easily adapt into the environment. Haha, sounds like self-praise. Okay, but it is like Singapore here. Just a little hotter, a little noiser, a little congested, a little more chances of getting pickpocketed, a little more I don’t know. Think of others when I get them.

Just finished my poker cards design which will be sent to the cilent when my boss up there give me the quotation. Hopefully our designs worth some money. This will prove that we are at least of some worth. And hopefully we each can get a few sets of the poker cards we do.

We will be going on a company tour on Sunday. Ain’t that cool? Only a week, we get to go on a tour. I hope its gonna be fun. Alright, I’m going back to slack and wait till the bell rings.

Alright, going to keep this rather short. Don’t really know when I will get disconnected. So here I am, in Vietnam. The place is rather backward if I must say. However, it is quite fun. They have a lot of things that Singapore may have. Staying the boss house. Very tall, but narrow. Our room is quite alright, like my room in Singapore just a bit bigger.

Internet is the house is rather rare. Just manage to get internet in the office. Oh yeah, the office doesn’t have aircon. So quite warm. Given the work to build a website. Intially wanted to build a flash website for them. In the end, they just wanted a normal site with a drop down bar. -.- In any case its easier.

Okay, back to main topic. Actually there isn’t any real main topic. I just wanna say sorry to my friends who has been accompanying the whole time. Mainly Prof. Lok Xin Quan, Law Student: Law Jun Hui, Boss: Li Yinhui, Dr. Ji Kai, Dr. Tay Hong Xiang. Thanks for accompanying till now for all the fun and laughters.

I really feeling very bad to keep telling you all that I am flying when I am not. Really really sorry.
